Om, May we hear with our ears what is Auspicious, O Devas,
May we see with our eyes what is Auspicious, O Yajatraa,
May we live with Contentment with a strong body and limbs.
May we praise you and enjoy the life given to us by the Devas

Om Bhadram Karnnebhih Shrnnuyaama Devaah
Bhadram Pashyema-Akssabhir-Yajatraah
Sthirair-Anggais-Tussttuvaagasas-Tanuubhih
Vyashema Devahitam Yad-Aayuh

– Upanishadic invocation

Often used as an invocatory praise before some of the early Upanishads, this verse comes from the Rig Veda 1.89.8. It is beautifully written and is very pleasing to the ear when sung. There is a request for the pragmatic requests of most people, health and wealth included and also the plea to lead a devotional life.

Dedication
May there auspicious thoughts and actions throughout the whole of today and set the example for the rest of my life.
