Dharma is defined as that which is best for all living beings. As a law, it has shaped the identity of millions of people over the ages. For many, it is part of their every being. There have been many exemplary individuals whose lives have been embodiments of Dharma, there have been actions and sacrifices made which embody Dharma, there have been books and documents created which promote Dharma in the world. This event is a celebration of all that is Dharmic.

Whatever be the name of faith or religion you pursue, we can all concur on certain basic universal values which can assist in enriching our lives with happiness, safety and respect.

Asian Voice and Gujarat Samachar together with Go Dharmic are working to promote good causes and social action which is for the benefit of the whole of society. Some of the core principles being propagated are Non-violence, truth, compassion to all beings, kindness, love, respect, forgiveness, absence of anger, charity, and fortitude. These kinds of inner values are easy to speak of but often difficult to live by.

The Be Dharmic event aims to inspire social action and inspire positive awareness. There will be Plays and Dance-Dramas celebrating gods, goddesses, saints and other exemplars who have embodied Dharma with a focus on the Indian Subcontinent. This will be an excellent opportunity for families to enjoy and to help parents teach their children about the profound impact their religion has had, and to add value to their perspectives.
