According to Hindu philosophy we should not be separated in to narrow definitions of believer and non-believer, the world is one family, all are our brothers and sisters. This is the universal world-view of India, Sometimes we will argue and disagree with others, but regardless of what we do, they are our relations. The Gita says to see every living being equally regardless of them being a priest or a dog. The Famous term ‘Vaisudhaiva Kutumbakam’ means the family of the world, a simple but profound message.
All beings are related to me in one way or another, the separateness we create with others creates suffering. May we move in the direction of Vaisudhaiva Kutumbakam, towards happiness and peace for all.
