Holy men would never drink wine, even if the water was taken from the  river Ganges.  The same wine however, if poured into the Ganges becomes purified.
Many religious scriptures of the world prescribe ‘mantras’ and people chant them to for worldly success, marital partners, fame, and all number of objectives, but are we missing the point? Are we taking something deeply spiritual and using it for a lesser goal than enlightenment.  Dive into spirituality, dive into the chanting of the name, dive into the Ganga.  The intention for practicing the mantra should not be any worldly benefit but to swim in the spiritual warmth where the name resides.  Pour yourself into the name of rama, pour yourself into the spiritual river that is the Ganga of life where all impurities will be washed away.
