Essence of shiva

A Four-Week Shravan Sadhana Journey
with Hanuman Dass

Essence of Shiva

From 20th August to 10th Sept, 7PM BST

Join Hanuman Dass for four weeks of scriptural exploration, sacred chanting, and spiritual practice. Together we’ll journey through teachings from the Shiva Purana, the Lingashtakam, and other revered Shiva stotras, discovering not only their meaning, but how they can shape the way we live, love, and serve.

Drawing on Hanuman Dass’s unique approach to the scriptures, we’ll discover that Shiva’s teachings are not simply to be studied, but lived. Through the lens of bhakti and dharma, we’ll explore how devotion naturally blossoms into compassion, humility, and selfless service, bringing these ancient teachings into our everyday lives.

For centuries, Shravan has been observed as a sacred time to deepen one’s connection with Lord Shiva. It is a month that invites us to slow down, simplify our lives, and return to what truly matters.

Through this shared sadhana of chanting, study, and contemplation, we’ll make the most of this auspicious time—not simply by learning about Shiva, but by allowing His teachings to shape our hearts and guide the way we live.

“Lord Shiva has inspired and guided seekers for thousands of years. This Shravan, I’d love to invite you to spend four weeks exploring His timeless wisdom through sacred scriptures, devotional chanting, and reflection. Hanuman is also revered as an incarnation of Lord Shiva, making this journey especially close to my heart.

My hope is that this sadhana helps us deepen not only our understanding of Shiva, but our relationship with Him. May these teachings inspire us to live with greater devotion, compassion, and a spirit of selfless service.

I look forward to welcoming you.”
