The Bhagavad Gita

For Modern Life with Hanuman Dass

Bhagavad Gita

16th September – 18th November 2026
Weekly Every Wednesday | 6PM UK Time

The Bhagavad Gita is a conversation between Lord Krishna and Arjuna at a moment of deep uncertainty.

Arjuna is overwhelmed. He doesn’t know what the right thing to do is, and he is searching for clarity. In response, Krishna speaks about something much deeper than the immediate situation before him.. dharma, action, devotion, the mind, detachment, and the nature of who we really are.

These teachings have guided seekers for thousands of years, and they continue to speak to the questions we face in our own lives.

How do we find peace when life feels uncertain? How do we let go of outcomes without giving up on what matters? How do we discover our purpose and live with greater clarity?

The Gita also calls us to action, reminding us that inner peace does not mean stepping away from the world, but learning to engage with it with greater purpose, courage and compassion. Its teachings can inspire us to find the motivation to act, serve and make a positive difference, without becoming attached to the outcome.

A personal message from

Hanuman Dass

The Bhagavad Gita is one of the texts people most often ask me where they should begin with. Its teachings have had a profound impact on shaping the way I see the world and live my own life.

People often tell me they would love to study the Gita but simply don’t have the time. I hope this 9-session journey offers a beautiful opportunity to come together and connect more deeply with its wisdom.

Dharma Circles were created for this very reason, to help us explore these timeless teachings together and discover how they can be lived in our everyday lives.

Whether you are opening the Gita for the first time or returning to it once again.

All love 🙏🏼
