The Sun’s nature is to shine,
To give light to all that find it..
To give warmth to all that seek it..
Our restless minds can lead us everywhere.
We can go to the hilltops of desire or to the clouds of worldly longing.
We can hide in the dark corners of illusion or in the shadows of greed.
The Sun shines for shining’s sake.
Warmth and light are given freely..
Even when ignored or unloved, it continues to give, judging none.
The heart is like the Sun…
Both are flames of eternal light,
Spiritual in nature,
Our hearts have boundless powers,
Full of truth..
Full of knowledge..
Full bliss…
